Annual Report 2010: Sustainable Evolution
In 2010, BTEL implemented two important breakthroughs. The first was evolving from simply a voice and SMS provider into a provider for broadband wireless access (BWA) service. This service will also be a future growth driver for BTEL. Second, by launching the Hijau Untuk Negeri or Green For the Nation initiative, BTEL has evolved into a company that is very environmentally aware. This program integrates environmentally-friendly values and practices into all operational aspects so that economic benefits are also achieved.
These two breakthroughs are manifestations of BTEL’s DNA, which is “disruptive innovation”. This intrinsic character is the means by which the Company stays ahead in the Indonesian telecommunications industry.
Through BWA services and Hijau Untuk Negeri, BTEL has evolved in a sustainable manner, both technologically as well as organizationally. That is to say, BTEL is on the right path in its Sustainable Evolution.

Annual Report 2009 : Shifting the Paradigm
The Year 2009 was a year where BTEL made numerous breakthroughs in the national telecommunication industry. Like great innovators, every step taken by the Company always leaves footprints that are followed by competitors. In that year, BTEL changed the paradigm of the operator that determines everything, to a paradigm where the customer can choose the type of telecommunications product or service, according to their respective preferences. That is exactly why the year 2009 is referred to as the year when BTEL was “shifting the paradigm”.

Annual Report 2006 :
Spreading Our Wings for Further Success
The attainment of a national FWA license in late 2006 puts us on a level playing field with other nationwide players, and we thus need to strengthen our organization to be able to operate and compete on a national basis. This development also requires us to broaden our horizon and mindset from a regional player to a national player, and we still believe that there is plenty of room for improvement in our planning, coordination and execution. Intensifying competition in the telecommunications sector drives other crucial steps we need to take. Continued improvement of our network quality by filling coverage gaps; capacity expansion; broadening our network coverage; and developing new products in order to provide the highest quality of service to our customers.

Annual Report 2005 :
Affordable Telecommunication is Every Indonesian's Birthright
The right to affordable telecommunication is the fundamental right of every human being. With the rapidly growing wireless telecommunication technology, the world is truly becoming a global village. Affordable wireless telephony is bringing human beings closer, generating new business opportunities and improving the quality of life of everyone. However, the fact remains that only one in five Indonesians owns a telephone as the result of tariff rates that are one of the highest in the world. Through our consumer-focused innovative disruptions, we strive to enable every Indonesian to fully enjoy their right to affordable telephony and vastly improve their standards of living.
